Executive Search Company specialized in the recruitment of top and middle management profiles, FED Africa is operating in partnership with international and local groups in order to develop their businesses in Africa and Middle East.

Your missions

Fed Africa is recruiting a Regional Financial Controller (+10 countries) for an international logistics company. The position can be based in one of the West or Central African countries.
We are looking for a professional with proven experience in managing financial processes on the African continent. You will report to the Group Finance Director, to whom you will ensure that all relevant and strategic information is passed on.

Your tasks:
- Assist country finance managers in the preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Prepare and present monthly support files.
- Assist and participate in audits (statutory, independent and compliance financial audits).
- Assist in cash flow management in close collaboration with head office.
- Manage relations with external consulting firms (legal, tax and other)
- Develop and improve internal control procedures
- Review monthly management accounts of African subsidiaries (variance and trend analysis, recommendations,)
- Understand statutory obligations (filing deadlines, payment deadlines, etc.)
- Draw up a schedule of regional obligations for group supervision

- Supervise financial operations at regional level, including accounts
- Supervise preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Master IFRS standards and OHADA accounting system.
- Standardize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

Your profile

Profile
You will have at least 7 years' experience in a similar position in finance, with exposure to the preparation, compilation and review of management accounts.
The ability to think independently and critically is essential, in order to be able to design and implement improvements to current processes.
Fluency in English is essential for this position.
You are fluent in Excel, have a good knowledge of Quick books, and use data extraction and analysis tools (such as Power BI).
