Security Manager (M/F) Kenya
Executive Search Company specialized in the recruitment of top and middle management profiles, FED Africa is operating in partnership with international and local groups in order to develop their businesses in Africa.
We are looking for one of our clients, a multinational group in the Agri-business, a Security manager (M/F) based in Kenya.
Your missions
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures Assist in emergency management and contingency planning
• Propose and get approved annual budget. Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
• Organize, train and evaluate Security employees. Establish training programs validated by management.
• Collaborates and interact with other heads of departments and managers to determine and answer operational needs.
• Provision of a first-class business security intelligence network and the maintenance of internal and external relationships
• Collaborates and interact with external security service providers such as Police, Security companies (such as G4S)
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events or visits on Sites
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Prepare reports on incidents and breaches. Inform immediately Management of such issues
• Conduct security investigations, reviews and audits in relation to any aspect of business integrated security.
• Analyze data to create proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
• Ensure that horses and dogs are in the best state of health and training to accomplish their works with Handlers
• Continually seek opportunities for innovation to increase efficiency in security systems, processes, and measures.
Your profile
• With a university degree, further education in military, police or security or similar jobs with good knowledge of organization ad administration
• Sports Practicing, able to train and lead a healthy security team and participate to such training.
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position of at least 10 years in a Multinational Group
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV, Tracking system, Drones)
• Experience in reporting and emergency situations and response planning
• Extensive experience in investigating fraud and crime incidents
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, committed, reliable and used to discipline and ethical requirements
